Lisa Parry-Becker, vice president at William B. Parry & Son, Ltd., has been selected to be an Applied Systems Client Network (ASCnet) Certified Presenter after completing the 2005 ASCnet Presenter Certification Program.  Parry-Becker is currently chairperson of ASCnet’s Interface Committee. According to Parry-Becker, “ASCnet is the user group for the insurance management software, Applied Systems, that independent insurance agents use to bring efficient automation and best practices to the administration of our businesses.“

With presenter certification, Parry-Becker will speak to groups on topics related to interface, including real-time transactions and recently enhanced commercial lines download. As chairperson, Parry-Becker also works with industry organizations including ACORD, ACT, AUGIE and IVANS. ASCnet is an international organization with over 5,000 members representing over 1100 users.

Ms. Parry-Becker is responsible for sales and marketing at William B. Parry & Son, Ltd., a family-owned, independent insurance agency and brokerage firm celebrating its 100th year in business in 2005. The agency specializes in property and casualty insurance and is located in Langhorne.
